# Our Journey

At Ambi Robotics, the work we do goes beyond building great tech. For us, it’s about creating tools for people to solve real-world problems. We're here to handle the supply chain's most complex problems, empowering people to handle more than ever before with the help of AI-powered robotics.

### Timeline

- **2018** - Co-founders meet at UC Berkeley in 2015, spending years researching a deep simulation-to-reality transfer learning system for robotics; they discover breakthroughs in Sim2Real AI.
  
- **2019** - High-profile breakthroughs lead to the founding of Ambidextrous Laboratories Inc. aimed at creating accessible, dexterous robots to improve working conditions.
  
- **2020** - Commercial production of the AmbiSort parcel sorting system, a pilot in collaboration with Pitney Bowes, begins.
  
- **2021** - Ambi Robotics emerges from stealth and secures $26M Series A funding.
  
- **2022** - $23M deployment expansion with Pitney Bowes, securing $32M additional funding to fuel growth.
  
- **2023** - Partnership with OSM Worldwide introduces AmbiAccess and unveils AmbiSort B-Series.
  
- **2024** - Surpassed 100M packages sorted in commercial operations, developed PRIME-1: The first AI foundation model for warehouse robots.
